Product Description: Acrylic fiber used in the filtration industry generally refers to homopolymer acrylic. Acrylic fiber was invented by DuPont in 1950. It has a round or splayed appearance, and is smooth in surface. It is not easy to absorb water. It is resistant to acid, alkali, and sunlight. It is also not prone to yellowing and easy to dye. It is commonly referred to as polyacrylonitrile fiber.

The strength of acrylic fiber itself is not very superior, and polyester filament base cloth or acrylic and polyester mixed base cloth are generally used to enhance the strength of needled felt.

Acrylic needle punched felt is a fine fiber cloth that uses a nonwoven process to interlace acrylic reinforced fibers with evenly distributed voids. The surface is treated by hot rolling, singeing, and other processes to make its surface smooth and not easy to be blocked by dust. Acrylic needle punched felt has a temperature resistance of 140 to 160 degrees Celsius. It is a medium temperature filter material with good acid resistance, alkali resistance, and hydrolysis resistance.
