Heading Filter can provide dust collector filter cages for all types of air filtration systems.  We offer a complete line of replacement and custom designed dust collector filter cages to fit most manufacturer filter bag housings. For questions, please contact us. Our dust collector filter cages are carefully fabricated and sized to ensure ease of installation and change-out. 

Cage constructions typically consist of 10, 12 or 20 vertical wires.

The horizontal ring spacing on the cage can be 4", 6" or 8".

Cage diameters range from 4" to 6 1/8’’

Wire thickness ranges are; 9 gauge, 10 gauge and 11 gauge

Venturis lengths come in 3" to 6".

It is important to us that we offer you the most effective solution for your specific dust collector filter needs.  How to place an order of cage:

• Brand name/ original manufacturer of the original dust collector or baghouse 

• How does the cage load? (top load, bottom load) 

• If the cage loads from the top, what kind of top does it have?  (turned down flange top, ring top, split collar or rolled flange top) 

• If the cage loads from the bottom, what kind of bottom does it have?  (split collar, split ring top) 

• Material type (carbon steel, mild steel, galvanized steel, 304 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel) 

• Measurements for the diameter and length of the cage (send us sample cage, or call for measurement instructions) 

• How many vertical wires (10, 12, 20 vertical wires are typical.  Some cages are made with metal holes instead of wires) 

• Horizontal ring spacing (4,6,8 inches.  Typically 8 inches) 

• Wire thickness range (9 gauge, 10 gauge, 11 gauge) 

Finish or coating (epoxy is used for 250-350 degree service temperature, Empigard and Teflon used in very specialized applications)
